I am looking for a source for nucs in SoCal. Can anyone help me out with a recommendation?

      Hi Nick,

Our group does group orders of nucs and packages in the spring for our members. Feel free to sign up for the club and join our mailing list so you can receive notices about the details as they are available. Ordering usually begins in February.

Hi. I joined The OC Beekeepers based on the recommendation of Pierce-Mieras Equipment Co. I am very interested in participating in your 2015 package bee and queen order. I tried clicking on the link for Amy Cripps’ email, but for some reason my system will not recognize it, and therefore I cannot contact her. If someone could get in touch with me I would be most appreciative. This is my wife’s email account. I do not have email. Or you can text her at 951-233-6360. Thank you very much.

I have a colony of wild bees in my back yard! Made a home in a log and a spa wooden step – wife wants to start bee keeping with them! Any suggestions?

I just moved to SoCal from Minnesota. I had 5 hives that I left to a friend. I have been keeping bees for 7 years and teaching beekeeping for 3 years. I learned beekeeping from the University of MN with Dr. Marla Spivak.

    1. When is your next monthly meeting? and where does it take place, and time ?
    2. I will be interested in ordering bees to restart beekeeping. Will I get an email then to order?

Cannot wait to meet some fellow beekeepers!
    Thanks,
    Karine

About The OC Beekeepers Assn.

The OCBA was formed in the 1970′s. Our membership is currently comprised of mostly small-scale beekeepers who are dedicated to keeping bees in the urban environment. The roots here in OC are agricultural, and we haven’t forgotten that.
